Kokoda Track Authority Rangers, Queensland Park and Wildlife Service Rangers and the people from Efogi joined together to share their ideas and techniques on how to care for the Kokoda Track.
This project was the first of a number of partnerships along the Track that will focus on attending to areas of accelerated erosion (caused by high use and tropical rains) and make the track safer for the Koiari people who walk the Track daily and for Trekkers who come to Kokoda to challenge themselves but to also pay tribute to the people who also joined together to repel a common enemy in 1942.
